I wish I had seen this link from “MasterOfSopranos” long ago. Even more I wish I had seen everything this author saw in the Sopranos (though maybe he sees a bit too much at points), and the last episode in particular. Yep, Tony is dead.
A note however on an interpretation I thought was brilliant – but now believe conclusively wrong – from my friend Kourosh. He saw the immediate stop as an indication Tony remained in purgatory, that the lines from Journey about “on and on” were an audio tip to it as well.
